FAI Call on Breen Consulting
The Football Association of Ireland retains Breen Consulting as a specialist consultant in matters relating to artificial turf.
Bob and Gary Breen have been working directly with the Facilities Department of the FAI on numerous projects to bring improvements in the way the football industry works with artificial turf, to ensure that facilities are properly and cost effectively designed, developed and managed.
Some of the projects where we have provided support:
- Advice and Support to 50+ Clubs, Leagues and other Affiliates of the FAI in the design, specification, procurement, evaluation and construction supervision of all weather facilities including full size FIFA installations and Regional Development Centres
- Practical advice relating to the specification of football facilities for the new AVIVA Stadium
- Liaison and advice to deliver a surface suitable for international soccer at Croke Park and more recently Thomond Park (Home of Munster Rugby)

- Facilitating replacement of FIFA 2 Star pitch at Dundalk FC's, Oriel Park
- Development of revised FAI Guidelines on Artificial Turf
